Welsh people with chips on their shoulders about the English
|
The Football Association of Wales (FAW) will not take action against chief executive Jonathan Ford for saying the next Wales manager could be "foreign", but "definitely not English".
The FAW had set up a three-person panel to investigate a BBC Sport Wales interview in which Ford said: "We have always favoured Welsh people because arguably the passion is there.
"Somebody said this earlier, Welsh most definitely, foreign possibly but definitely not English."
A statement from the FAW said they will not "take the matter any further" after Ford apologised for the remarks.

After a few trips to Wales as a young man in the early 90's I can confirm that I have never met a race of young ladies so up for absolutely anything.

A certain Welsh Regiment of Foot had a Goat called Jenkins..the regimental mascot. He had his own own Army number and rank.
Busted three heads belonging to another regiment of foot who thought it funny to cut of his beard one night.
Jenkins fucked em up

The funniest thing about all of this is that the guy in question who made the comments about the next Wales manager not being English speaks with an English accent!

I quite like the Welsh, they seem to me to be akin to a special needs kid with a particularly unusual and unexpected talent in some obscure field of the performing arts.
Quirky Mad Best kept in control Handy back up in a fight.

I’m welsh but have English blood from my grandad who came here during and then settled after, the war. Hence me being here and an iron.
Welsh nationalism comes from two things, either the welsh speaking lot who are totally irrelevant to (yet run) the rest of the country, or thick twats who are along the same lines of the dimwits who voted brexit in England.
What really annoys me about what this guy said is that the FAW have decided it’s fine. Yet he is paid with public money and if anyone outside of the public eye made these comments then they would be disciplined. These fucking idiots need to be held to account without regard to the notion that it was a joke.

Shane, to answer your question, I don’t give a fuck.
What I will say is, as much as the Irish, Scots and Welsh don’t like it, they all had a big hand in the Empire.

Shane, aren’t you born and raised in England?
As for the Taffs not wanting an Englishman, I’ll settle for a tall glass of bothered.
I care about Scotland, Wales and Ireland not a jot.

21 percent of the Welsh population were born in England. Maybe that's why they have a chip on their shoulders.

This was quite obviously a joke.
If you're English and get offended by it then you're far worse of a human being than any piss taking taff/jock
